" no chance in hell they will become battery/electric", so when the burning of fossil fuels is totally banned or we simply run out of oil to import, what are we going to use to move Earth with?? Back to picks and shovels, or electric via battery earth moving equipment??
Just because you can't imagine it, doesn't mean it wont happen. This is what disruptive change is all about, a change in the way everything operates.
