You lot are all soo narrow minded you think EVs are the only place graphite makes money. I got new for you:

Notice how many green areas i highlighted. That is areas where synthetic can NOT compete.
DO you see how much opportunity there is coming up in the next decade?

You talk about Canada as if its priced correctly and ASX graphite plays are wildly overpriced... do you even thoroughly research the very stocks you talk about?

Lets go through a case study:
This is from Masons in Canada (LLG.V)

Here is their September 2016 corporate presentation:

    - They have a 4.7Mt resource and plan to produce 52ktpa.
    - Their basket case is $1465 USD
    - BFS resulted in NPV $600 mill
    - No jumbo or super jumbo flakes
    - They nakedly admit their feasibility study was derived from the "high grade portion of the deposit" i.e.
    - They only pulled samples and drilled in the areas they knew where the very best of their deposit.
    - In September 2016 they managed to raise $28.8 million in placement

Guess what their Market Cap is?... $166,400,000 ....
And they are just about to begin construction in the next 2 months

How on earth can you compare LLG.V and VRC.AX? its like a baby vs an adult already and we haven't even hit PFS yet.

VRC contained graphite already 475% bigger (22.3Mt)
VRC worst case NPV is MNS's BFS NPV of $1.6 Bill (267% bigger worst case)
    VRC achieved 99.99 % TGC
VRC has significant amounts of super jumbo, jumbo and large flake
VRC has world class leading management
VRC has 10 times the land size for future potential drilling and discoveries.
VRC has already a target of 250ktpa
VRC has already 100ktpa in MOUs

    VRC MC is $73,000,000

How can you possibly say North America doesn't like the graphite space?

Did you know the largest graphite plays in the world belong in the ASX? They rightly so deserve to be significantly bigger in MC than their north american counter parts, these counter parts are a fraction the size of ASX in terms of contained graphite.
