Hi all
The Australian body to my knowledge (following a quick google search) is the TGA or Therapeutic Goods Administration department of the Australian Government see their sight below

Does anybody know if they do testing of promising new drugs or are they simply reliant on Europe and America, acting only as a rubber stamping exercise for our Government?
Also below is a link to an interesting and highly relevant article (given recent eventuality's) regarding the increasing cost and complexity of new drug approvals in America and Europe and likely the whole world
