Thanks for making the call but I think if that is all Ian had to say then we can probably assume FAR have 15% and WPL have 35% because there is no box left to tick for the government as far as I can ascertain.
The Senegal government did not have to explicitly authorise a transfer of rights in writing to a different entity under the PSC ( which they did with Kosmos) because in this case WPL bought the shares of the actual company that already has the PSC rights - i.e. no transfer to authorise. The Senegal government just had to say nothing for 60 days to deem the notification of change of control approved. Its over unless FAR take the notification to Arbitration or FAR convince WPL that it is in their interest to not take it to arbitration and give them money. If they are relying on the govt to shut down the sale they are f'd I reckon. The govt already would have weighed in on the announcement of completion if they had anything to say IMO.
