Whilst ultimately sad and tough for those who's jobs are affected, it highlights the extent of change, demand for productivity/efficiencies in the industry, cost pressure YET still (according to NABFP GM, Tim Steele) committing to "Face to Face Advice" and "positioning for growth".
Interestingly, the roles affected are to entry level financial planning positions. Traditionally in the industry, these FP roles focus on Insurance/Risk only and basic superannuation strategies...something which IAM have the technology to significantly enhance.
