By your very same argument if the directors had been rational instead of emotional they would not have instigated legal action for many reasons.

The most important being that it is against the law to use company funds to pursue private legal matters.

Additionally if they were faced with pursuing the matter with their own funds would they have done so? And if they had used their own funds it would not have wasted 1mill of company funds. (1 mill figure is wabbits not mine)

So I think wabbits argument that the shareholders cost the company 1 mill by their posts is fanciful and completely unbelievable.
