    Hey Wisdom,

You might have been here long enough to remember all this. But for those whom are relatively new here's a lot of Wangle's history that been full of ups and downs.

15-7-15  "NexGen Due Diligence Completed" http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20150715/pdf/42ztm9smj1c7kz.pdf

Here a whole bunch of claims of speed/compression is highlighted and "Mr Cam Worth, is appointed as an independent Technical and commercial advisor"

    http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20150903/pdf/431276s3l4114j.pdf

So here, the company did a bunch of real-world tests during their field testing of NexGen's Warpware (name of app before it was known as Wangle). Giving Facebook savings of up to 52%, Netflix 53% and Instagram 57%.

12-10-15  "New Brand Wangle for NexGen's revolutionary Web Optimisation Product" http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20151012/pdf/431zxgyk4f9ckm.pdf

Here, Nexgen is renamed Wangle, rollout plan is highlighted with rollout targets of Nov/Feb

25-11-15 "Revolutionary Wangle Application Ready for Soft Launch over iOS and Android"
    http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20151125/pdf/43386dl0mttzqp.pdf

Soft launch was meant to occur during 30 Nov 2015 and 2016 3 phase plan is solidified

1-12-15 "Wangle to enter the African Enterprise Market via Exclusive Partnership Agreement with Global Business Innovator, Spinova" http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20151201/pdf/433gp5cfjh4fns.pdf

Here a complex partnership with Spinova is outlined including testing/proof-of concept at a South African University

Late Dec 2015 - Around late december Rob Pole uploaded two videos on youtube one was an official company ad/promo type vid that was on the Wangle Technologies website as well and showed a very sophisticated app with Geomasking, very detailed user usage patterns/savings and the app running with a lot of popular apps like FB,IG,YT in the background.

The Second vid was taken at a board meeting and showed two rar file downloads with and without wangle and showed very significant savings and speed  improvements. Some LTers might still have that video on their computer. That video was taken down within a day and that was the last time we heard from Rob Pole (Founder of company and tech as well as the only guy on the board with a network engineering background).

    RELISTING

    26-2-16 Investor Presentation http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20160226/pdf/435d54yz0gmn1n.pdf

Rob Pole is no longer mentioned, Cam Worth is now the CTO and Wangle's benefits are still highlighted.

http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20160226/pdf/435d4rkrts683f.pdf , successful beta testing is also carried out.

    18-4-16 "Market Update (Compliance)"

Here the company explains why the rollout was delayed and the first time we hear about us being classed as a CSP and that we have to be compliant with the new data retention laws.

    JUNE FAILED LAUNCH

23-6-16 "Shareholder's Letter from the Chairman"

Here, the Chairman highlights why the launch failed and it was due to the compliant version of the app not meeting the performance levels of the non compliant version. This was something they discovered last minute.

15-7-2016 "WangleVPN Twice as Fast as Industry Speed OpenVPN"

Here, Wangle boasts about being faster than competitors through the speedtest app and not real world tests like they used before.

    ==========

So, as you can see Wangle's lifespan can be broken into three stages Nexgen, Wangle pre compliance, Wangle post compliance.

My concern is that if Wangle has/had a revolutionary algorithm this died when compliance was shoved into the platform.

The product we see now is nothing like the one they demoed almost a year back, the company stopped doing real world tests and highlight how it's beneficial to the ordinary person.

One of the key things that continually bothers me is the absence of Rob Pole, ever since Cam Worth jumped aboard we used much lower quality testing methods (despite his company being paid millions by us).

Earlier this year, Skittles (before he went nuts) apparently went to have a chat with management and was assured that Pole is still with us and this was later told to @topaz stallion.

I can't help but think that as soon as compliance came in the performance of the app was completely destroyed and hence our failed launch and since then they've been trying to make it or make it seem like it works.

Before you all jump on me and go 'but hey it does xyz for me', i'm not saying the app does absolutely nothing. It does do something, but not nearly enough or close to what the company promised both last and this year.

Like technical people have explained, compression of text based sites is very possible and this already exists on the market and I for one can say HC and some text heavy sites runs better with Wangle (but at the cost of some websites not loading at all and very slow upload speeds in general).

However the other aspects of the app are very underwhelming. Savings is basically nonexistent when the Speedtests and the stability of the connection is finicky when switching between wifi and celluar.

Another interesting fact is the first video I mentioned that Rob posted (the demo that was also on our website) was still up on YT a week ago but has been taken down since...

    ALL IMO, DYOR
and I only posted this so newcomers can see what we have been through as well as hopefully to meaningfully discuss the company, the app and its history as a whole because we have all been through a lot.
