    That is the $64k question. As you said, maybe the other producers are levered to the neck and simply cannot afford to do so? I have no idea, and maybe that is wishful thinking. Really, any company that is essentially debt free and producing solid free cash flow is in an enviable position.

    Your comment re. the supermarkets is something I hadn't really considered even though it is fairly obvious. Again, it probably doesn't bode well for FRM, or any of the other major egg players if margins are progressively squeezed over time.

    Far out, it's so hard to come up with a sound investment thesis in today's market. Nearly everything is goddamn overpriced (IMO) and when you think you've found a value gem (e.g FRM) it turns out the thesis isn't bulletproof.

    What's a guy supposed to do? Hahaha
