The point was that railways are generally built in remote areas with crappy terrain, the reason for this is every one lives around these crappy areas and usually want to get stuff from point A to point B
building this railway would not throw up any new challanges that havent allready had an engineering solution found over the last 200ish years of building train lines

out of interest Mount tomprice has the highest structure in WA, key word being highest not tallest, that honour belongs to the Military radio tower outside of geraldaton that cant been seen on google earth, which also gets blamed for whales and dolphins getting lost and confused and was also apparently the reason for the qantas plane that almost crashed a few years ago on its way to perth.
