I won't hold my breath on receiving any value being returned to the DGR shareholders.

If Solgold is sold as suggested, as with any of the other DGR supported companies, we the DGR shareholders will get a very small percentage from a dividend while the rest is retained by DGR and in turn directed into the other companies which support and pay the Directors accumulated wages. OBS was a prime example. If you are being paid over a million dollars plus a year for being director of numerous companies, where you have absolute power of what you spend the money on, including wages and bonuses to directors, then you would continue down that path.....goose that lays the golden egg. Over time directors will give themselves more and more (wages and bonuses) and build up their personal wealth while investors are left waiting for a return. The longer a project takes, the greater the amount they are able to extract and the more they can accumulate, should that be a benefit to them with the inside information they are privileged to know. Delay, protract, feed little bits to the market, don't actually produce anything (other than another company with 'wonderful & world class potential') but the end game, is look after yourself. Don't worry about the obligations that a director has to the actual shareholders who front up with money.

Lets be realistic, should a multi-national company come and take over Solgold for lets say $500 million, then DGR's 15% will equate to $75 million. How much do you think holders will get by way of dividend.....$5-15 million and the rest will be diverted/loaned to the other companies in the DGR portfolio and the directors will get more pay and more free bonuses. Over this continued circle, you might rightly guess 'who' has positioned themselves to be significant holders of the company/s. A little research will verify how much certain individuals had in OBS and now have in DGR and Solgold. You can bet your last dollar (and a lot of us have done that already) that these same individuals have not average their purchased price at 2 or 3 times current share price.

I want Solgold to prosper but believe that DGR will never deliver what some posters here believe is due.
