The USA will only dwarf other markets if Yowie cracks it and the facts are they haven't and the next quarterly will paint no different picture or put a rocket up the shareprice. Have no idea where you're going with Safeway and what the synergy is between a retailer and a manufacturer but I'll leave that on with you.
Investors trade on possibilities with stocks like this, on potential earnings, on potential growth with reality often being the unfortunately sobering slap in the face. The shareprice is now reflecting this reality and no-one can say, with a straight face that they're happy with the current shareprice or company performance in the last 12 months.
