yes both correct, a 0.5% increase will add US $100m to the bottom line. And I most certainly see this stock as a set and forget. The normalisation of the US interest rate cycle is under way right now after a decade of historically low rates, hence the 75% fall in QBE over that timeframe, that's an enormous correlation. The cycle has bottomed so where will rates be in 5 years and where will QBE be......$20,$21, $22? By all means buy at $11.50 and sell at $12.50 if that makes you happy. I'll hold long-term.
