    re: to raci, pip, andrewk4 et al I should mention that blue chip tader can import data from any source, you dont have to buy it from them. They use an excel spreadsheet and CSV/ commer delimited format, which is similar to metastock and other software.

    You could use (free) data from Sanford, bigcharts paritech or any data supplier. All you have to do, is understand excel formatting (take a few days and search the excel help files) AND get the order of date, open, hi, lo , close right (use a macro to manipulate that).

    I assume all this might be too hard for you today, but if you are willing to put in the time to learn it, you have free data. MAybe you have a freind who will understand this better, so copy and paste this post and show it to him.
