Whilst the webinar touches on the topic, it doesnt specifically outline what the funds will be used for.
It states:
- Deepening engagement with Verizon Wireless for the Syntonic platform services: Whilst be know this is specifically related to the CSP, it doesn't exactly detail to what end they are using it, what benefit to Syntonic it has and when this is due to begin.
- Major new business opportunity for mobile OTT video services addressing over 75% of the US mobile subscription market: Again, this is very broad. It doesn't state WHO is involved, WHAT is happening, WHEN its happening and HOW its happening.
By new announcement relating to the CR, we need to know the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN AND HOW. Until then, no one knows anything except for the people involved with Syntonic and whoever the other party/ies are.
Until we find this out, everything is pure speculation.
I also emailed GG directly yesterday and fronted the blunt query to see what response he would give me. I simply asked, knowing full well he cant release price sensitive information, whether we had a direct involvement with DirecTV. One would think, based off any response i may get, would shed light on this. If he says, "I am unable to comment on any potential blah blah, we can assume something there is up. If he says a straight up NO, then we know nothings happening there and we are all off topic...
Play by ear and wait and see.
