Note - usually in a takeover the first bid does not get it

It them forces the management to get of their back sides and look for a better offer
As they must do whats best for the shareholders

A take over usually brings in a second party

Personally something needs to happen to get the share price going the right
direction

Share holders may need to do the selling for the company is not currently doing the best for shareholders
