Richpiano, you touch on a good point, and that's everyone has different investment goals and timelines. Personally, i'm quite young so i'm actually all in. And this stagnation and falls in quiet news periods do cause me more grief than i care to admit.

I bought in 3 years ago and have been growing my position since then, up and down as my finances and travel allowed. I originally invested with a 3-5 year time-frame looking for 10-15*investment (at least).

I should add that i don't have a mortgage, children, loan or any debt or encumbrances. So my position is probably quite different to most.

But that's me.

I hope this helps in some way. And now you probably understand why i so closely follow KNL, and why i'm so keen to correct the misinformation that is sometimes perpetuated on these threads, ha.
