You are right. I don't understand why some people are confused by GPP is now acquiring a brine project.

Why not? Nothing wrong with it. If we have both hard rock and brine lithium projects then we would be able to cover all parts of lithium supply market.

The world's biggest and best hard rock miner Talison Lithium also has a lithium brine project located in the Atacama Region III, in Chile, and there are many other lithium explorers doing work on both hard rock and brines. That is called diversification.

The only thing, it should be a good project, shouldn't be anything for just filling the gaps. It's not easy to find a good brine project, even might be harder than hard rock. You can find the resources but may not find the reserves.

The geological settings, recoverable volume, grade is very important. It's a dynamic resource because brine moves. Permeability play a big role in rate of extraction. Weather plays a major role as well.

However low exploration cost and low capex cost make the brine prospects very attractive. Yes, it has its own market. We know that nearly 60% of lithium production is now from brines.

If this project is good one, I'd love to have one. The exploration cost is very low in comparison to hard rock. If it is in Australia it will much easier to manage at very low cost.

    Then Boom ..!
