A good example is the whinging from our politicians about China's human rights record, South China Sea, etc while China's been propping up our economy for the last 10-15 years.
Cut the Chinese some slack, they were the dominant power in Asia before white imperialists invaded. What we are just witnessing as the "new normal" is simply the reversion to the "old normal".
