I run 6 screen off a single tower 4 are Daisy chained via Mini display Port. screens must be Daisy chain capable the other 2 screens are hdmi and plug directly into video card. Two screens are portrait orientation which is good for reading reports,hc ,and programming. Alls screens are Dell Also have two laptops and a extra screen each for those. If tower drops dead each lappy can does all functions have Ups for power outage alter alternate internet carriers so if on dies can carry on both land line and mobile enables...also have multiple broker accounts incase one drops out... Everything is surge protected... I do find it diffult to work with just lappy and 1 screen though...sort of like working with one eye closed and one hand behind you back...been thinking of upgrading tower screens to 3 x 4k 52" screens. ...but will need a new video card for that... My kids can't understand why I could want more screens... As already better than most high end gamers setup but sometimes having multiple things visible and on screen at once makes a difference..
