yeh i think something like that.

i've been on registers before where in the final stages of DFS there has been a down turn in the shareprice and then a selldown by insto's once released to market, because underlying the fancy numbers there was some intel that the project was unlikely to move into construction any time soon.

so what does it mean when in the final stages of a DFS the shareprice goes up significantly and fund managers start taking substantial positions?

presumably that there is an "understanding" that the DFS will be followed immediately by an offtake agreement allowing for project financing to commence construction.


back on technicals, though, this is right on the cusp of breaking into it's next run, and that is going to draw a bit of interest from traders as well, which could be liking adding jet fuel to a fire.
