I notice Szaba put up a post with some large numbers in energy use and requirement for the electric car revolution. I have said it before but it will all come down to battery tech. If you can put a 5 kw solar system on the roof of your house for under 10k and store that energy to charge your car then IMO it will be the death of oil in the space of 2 decades tops, IMO the servo of the future will be wind and solar servo with large battery banks producing the energy on site. Imagine the cost savings alone!
I am personally of the belief that Senegal won't get the full benefit of their reserves from SNE.
Once the battery tech moves on from lithium, which it will, they will have batteries that hold many times the energy and charge in min. not hours and can be stored on your property the internal combustion engine will go the way of horse and cart, it will happen IMO. Lonnie Johnson a genius IMO, for not only inventing the super soaker and nerf gun but for pioneering the battery revolution. If you have 20min watch the video, he explains it beautifully.DB
