I was at that agm and that info from Andrew stood out. He stated that the OEM,s Boeing and Airbus officially stated that they are going to keep the present fuselage design through to 2030 with incremental improvements. This was at the
Farnborough airshow. Added to that it was mentioned by him that because they are sticking to the same design then the FAA AD,s for each model will carry forward to new aircraft past 2030. This makes the second contract mooted for early next year with the OEM,s far more important and as Mike said this was not yet on the radar but the OEM,s have accelerated its implementation and its where the big money is.
So next year we have two contracts in place talking big numbers and the Military which is been handled by a consultant, who we all know, outside of the company. Anyone like to guess who it is?
