re: darvas jewels box LOL Madmacs.
Madmacs and I approach seem to approach TA slightly differently.. its actually why I appreciate his comments. Madmacs (and correct me if I am wrong Mad) can draw those funny pennents, and trend lines. I for one have never been good at that, and prefer to use my charting tools and developing my own formulae for my TA. I use Metastock.
Ref Darvas boxes... my suggestion is buy books and research. To be honest if I was to post something on Darvas Boxes it would be straight out of Leon Wilsons book "The Next Step to Share Trading". I use both fundamental and TA... fundamental for long term investments and TA for my trades. IMO for those serious about the market should have a portfolio of both long term holds and a trading portfolio. But hey.. thats the world according to George... I am sure we all have our own trading patterns :P
