my guess and based on the announcement is they said they had issues with the drill and its on its way to maintenance and then out to manitogngisfsdfion (spelling ). I think it would be safe to assume they stopped because the drill was playing up and started to chew into time.
Bearing in mind it is currently -18 degrees at seymour lake most equipment would be having troubles. alternatively who wants to fix a drill outside in -18..... just my two cents as i don't think you'd stop drilling for any other reason....
