I think you can cancel but not amend. When you cancel the filled portion goes through, otherwise you'd have to wait to fill the balance. It happened to me on another stock, got 3/4 filled and price moved way up too high so I had to canceled and completed the partially filled order...the price has not yet retracted to my purchase price so was a good move to cancel.
