Same tried really hard on the blue chips to stay off the specs but our market just not made for it .. all you can do is trade longer term on those and forever (BHP was the same price like for months so no point and was like watching paint dr) so the small end makes sense unfortunately short term trading brings better rewards but isn't a day job as such .. plus smaller end is generally more enjoyable I think and less HFT driven
Agree once you find the way to manage risk on the specs/small end is key then you can apply the same principles .. it's a shame not more can read charts though the market would be better to trade if so in general but still works (the us has it a lot better tho) I'd just love to see it
