I am convinced it is one of you guys...a hot copperite who knows the approx timetable and is trying to pick up cheap.
I see they have now pulled their order.
The first or initial BHP take up of shares would not warrant "manipulation" as the amouint of dollars saved would be negligible (in BHP terms)
Also business common sense suggests that for BHP to buy any on market could "jepardise" the relationship between the two and damage the trust so far developed.
As I have said previously, BHP will get the shares they want at a price close to what they want and when they are ready to take APG they will make a "freindly" offer to management looking for the full support of the board.
