where is this underperformance that you mention?
I think your getting confused with mfg as a listed investment management business and its managed funds. There 2 different things. u cant compare a management investment business with a etf relative to a index. you can compare the individual funds with etfs. that would make sense. like I mentioned in previous reply. the best 2 international exposed etfs on the asx are mhg and wxhg. both of these have well outperformed the competition in the past 12 months. including fees.
Magellan's inflows and been both institutional and retail. these ppl that you mention who have super with industry funds would most probably have some kind of exposure one or many of Magellan's products, read the reports, it clearly states all this
