This isn't about correcting others or making anyone feel stupid. It is just about a strange phenomena!
There are certain words that people expect to see mis-used. People often mix up the use of there/their etc and sometimes that is because we type so fast etc.
I just never expected lose and loose to be one of these - I mean they are not even pronouced the same way.
Seriously, I reckon 85% of posters use loose instead of lose. I am just wondering if the mis-use by some has caused others to mistakenly think they were wrong in using lose and have now started using loose!
