You can use as many faulty arguments for gun laws as you like. You can flood public forums with silly memes about wolves and sheep but it does not alter the truth. The numbers don't lie. I did the calcs for myself the other day and in the US in 2013 one person was harmed by a gun (either killed or injured) every 12.2 seconds for the entire year. Don't let that statistic just whizz straight past. Stop and think about it for a minute. If someone was hurt or killed in the US by a gun as I started typing this sentence another was hurt or killed by the time I finished it. Perhaps two were hurt or killed if I get a little pedantic about checking my spelling and grammar. Even if congress had enough spine to actually lead the country instead of worrying about their own polling numbers, and if they had supported Obama's very soft suggested gun control laws, and if they had even managed to halve the number of gun related incidents, (which would have been a statistically monumental achievement) then someone in the US would still be harmed by a gun within half a minute of the last person that was harmed........

.......minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day, year in and year out.

It would take an awful lot of internet memes and a lot of very clever pro gun rhetoric to ever convince me of otherwise.
