Fermiscan is in the process of running a clinical trial, involving 3600 patients and it will be a prospective, blinded randomized trial. (Phase 3 trial)

This is exactly the type of evidence needed to sway current opinion in the medical establishment.

They started recruiting in Dec 2006, so probably a year or 2 before the results are published.

I don't think any government funding agency will fund this test unless there is good phase 3 trial evidence, like the above.
