WHO budget for 2016-2017 is 4.4B with 340M allocated to Non-communicable diseases (which I assume would include respiratory diseases, but to be honest, they don't seem to talk about specifically about pneumonia that much).
UNICEF expenditure in 2015 was 5.1B. Diagnosing and treating Pneumonia in kids is one of their biggest priorities....and they have a particular interest in innovative products that can be deployed to developing countries to help with rapid and accurate diagnosis.
The B&G Foundation gave...I think...around 100k to UQ. ResApp bought those rights from UQ in exchange for equity in the company...so unless I'm mistaken, there is no commercial obligation to the B&G Foundation.
Agree, the big monkeys in the room are Telehealth in US, Europe etc and resp. disease management, but I wouldn't underestimate the potential revenue from UNICEF/WHO.
