the name explains itself really,
A special dividend is given by the company when they have too much cash and want to give some of that back to the shareholders.
So instead of our normal dividend that we expect to get form MCR twice yearly , they give us a special dividend on top of this.
It basically means more money coming to us but paid in franked dividends.
