I have already factored in to my current & future uranium investments that Cameco's Cigar Lake will be MOTHBALLED and once this announcement is made public, TSX Listed Companies such as Paladin, Mega Uranium, Laramide,SXR Uranium, Pinetree Capital,Urasia Energy,Strathmore, will go Ballistic and take our ASX Uranium stocks to record Highs. Dwecke2000s posting on a BLR thread on this subject confirms my thoughts.
IMO**Another factor ** It apparently takes approx 12 Months to freeze the zone that they intend mining at Cigar Lake, My feeling is that this may well be, one of the major factors that caused the initial rock fall, that in turn flooded the mine, would be interested to here from anyone who has knowledge of this process of mining, I understand this process is undertaken when region is too unstable to mine by conventional means.
