Ann: RTG ANNOUNCES UPDATE ON THE MABILO PROJECT, page-72

It is Xmas party season already here in the Philippines and most of what I here comes
laden with lots of alcohol in between. There is nothing to be said anymore about Gina Lopez
that hasn't been rehashed into a hundred different stories. Without much actual mining,
its backroom stories that are the only thing left to talk about.

From what I heard, the MOA in June was supposed to settle everything.
Mike Carrick apparently threw a winning pitch that came up positive
Suits were dropped, co-permittee issues dropped, and the JV partner agreed to have his
interest incorporated into Mt Labo
I lost track after as it was alls well that ends well

At a party last night, I heard that RTG moved to dilute the JV partners interest,
and the partner threw a hissy fit about it. Then, something about missing corporate details on Mt Labo papers.
Based on what I read here in the forum, I figured that it was headed to arbitration, nothing extraordinary
End of party

It was only this noontime that I heard of local court proceedings
Thus, my post later asking for details
Headed to another Xmas party later today, will see if I can get more info
But as all things Filipino goes, it will be half-right and half- wrong
Would rather get the lowdown from an announcement
