It's all meaningless - short term playing - standard tactics for anyone wanting to accumulate - long term holders look on from the sidelines - basically not getting involved.
The more important thing is what the volume weighted average shows (to get any volume you have to pay for it) - as Maxime has indicated - when someone wants in new, larger orders just come in from the sidelines - (Am in a similar position - if I had any more liquidity I would have taken up another 10Million by now - I consider BSR de-risked - and I think the people that want in have the same notion as I do (that Konkouto and Makabingui South are not just another million Oz resource - they're more likely several million - each- and all the things that need to be done from here on in are all standard practice - not life threatening) - don't just go by what you see from Commsec et al and ignore the handful of shares at lower prices at the end of the day - happens a lot.

The bottom line is that now the permit has been issued larger players will want a stake - and they are not likely to show you their hand as they want in at the best prices they can - so don't play their game and get sucked in. Best thing to do is look away for the next few months as the move to production slowly unfolds (bit hard to do that though isn't it)

The only way that the price goes down is if anyone is prepared to sell at the lower prices.

In the scheme of things it is all immaterial.

Had a chat with company recently.
They are absolutely flat out on all fronts now that permit is issued.
Financing
Tailings dam and other equipment tie ins
Mining contract
Revised feasability and double checking all the numbers etc etc
Main focus is getting into production though Konkouto is nice addition to the overall story
Will all come out in announcements once it's finalised - not before.

Hope to see some assays before Christmas but all depends on the labs (and then the geo's need to do their interpretation and modelling)

Don't know if Santa will be here by Christmas - he's having to have a new sled built just for BSR holders (apparently he's going to call it "Superpits")
