Nice one. Agreed.
It would be nice to see some scientific proof of sustained charting success / methods. I believe there's quite good proof for the "trend is your friend" type of trade. Not sure what else is out there.
My other point is that it would not be wise to dismiss any information that is available when making an investment decision - this includes past price / volume history. Might not put much weight on it, but I don't think I'd dismiss it altogether.
