It never ceases to amaze me how so many on the right are everything they claim to hate. Cheering the tearing down of banners saying things they don't like ("very merry") while screaming blue murder about every perceived infringement of their own "free speech". Dictating what others are and aren't allowed to say while treating every simple wish of "happy holidays" as an attempt to prevent them from saying "Merry Christmas". Decrying "PC culture" and "special snowflakes" while performing rolling-on-the-ground-and-screaming public tantrums over the mortal insult they feel over not having their extra-super-special traditions respected. It's hilarious and depressing in roughly equal measure.
