Its great to see people progressing well in their trading/investing careers and STT being a contributing factor in success stories... hats off to all old and new contributors along with silent readers... Please stop being silent and share your research so we can all benefit from it...

2016... willingness to learn more, controlling emotions, posting with more caution at HC, trying to find multi baggers and few but large winners has been the highlights for me... Also market has been fairly good all this year so perhaps success is not completely based on research but market performing good may well be a bigger contributor... So I would personally try to keep my head in check next year and try to focus more....

For new investors...
1. No capital is small capital
2. Try avoid being rich over night
3. Research and more research
4. Protection of capital is as good as making money
5. Establish your strategy
6. Make mistakes no problem but learn from it each time you make one
7. Be stubborn and don't give up... if you lose money and you end up giving up shares, the lost opportunity offered by stocks is the biggest loss IMO... so learn from mistakes and do more research... success will follow IMO...

And lastly enjoy the festive season... I personally feel we are seriously blessed as living in a country like Australia... and whenever I travel this feeling grows bigger... Seriously I love my home ---- AUSTRALIA
