You have an unhealthy phobia about unions who helped bring about great reform that protect workers. They set the standard to the point the conditions they fought for are now taken for granted and they in fact are not as influential as you claim.

So stop playing your political games and be truthful and acknowledge that the issue of the Republic has supporters and detractors from people across the political spectrum.

Also, you should stop denigrating Australians in the here and now. We are all entitled to change things within the rules of our constitution and democracy. If the people will it, whichever way it goes, you must abide by their decision or face the consequences.
