    @speckledjim1 - A good tip: if it's late and you've over-imbibed always drink a ton of water before hitting the sack. Much of the crap feeling next day is due to dehydration & alcohol dehydrates the bod during sleep (via breathing).

    Second tip: If you REALLY MUST drink and drive (not advisable, but sometimes hard to avoid) and you see a police checkpoint/are pulled over take 5 seconds to hyperventilate. This TEMPORARILY reduces alcohol in breath and could be the decider when breathylised, so you may avoid a fine/conviction.

    These two good tips from an old med student flatmate of mine at uni. They both work!
