Brian has done this before. He puts his money where his mouth is. He didn't float RAP with the expectation that the technology would be short lived pie in the sky.

He is no-ones bitch and consequently RAP is not someone else's schmuck, unlike a suggestion made by a First Class Flogger earlier on this thread.

A big player couldn't get this done quicker, as the bottleneck is the rate of uptake/enrolment for pre trials and later, FDA trials. If RAP gets the best possible US hospitals on board, then which better hospitals will a 'bigger player' use to accelelerate past RAP?
Also, do you think that theses US hospitals will bothe to replicate/redo these trials for a competitor if RAP scores well? No way! They will want to be involved in the discovery of new breakthroughs, not the reinvention of the wheel.
