Whilst I agree with you to some extent, I am happy for the SP spike so I could flog some to participate in the SPP, and I think that was one main purpose of the announcement.
The other is that this is Intel, acting as Master of Ceremonies, announcing to XPED and Intel shareholders, that it is about to unleash the beast in January, at its 45 minute press conference, announcing its ADRC ready chip to the world. When an Ann with a link to the press conference appears, expect that one to be marked price sensitive!
