Ashley currently breaches ASX Corporate Governance recommendations 2.4 and 2.5.
2.4 - that the majority of directors be independent. Ashley has NO independent directors.
2.5 - that the chairman is independent. He isn't.
This is extremely concerning , especially when there is a strategic review going on as to the future of the company. Even more so when the major shareholder and his family own two thirds of the stock, and occupy key management positions.
Who exactly is going to look out for minority shareholders in this process ?
