The time that they are taking is to give the absolute best return for shareholders by creating a process that is:
1) De-Risked 2) Efficient 3) Low operating cost 4) Designed for the long term 5) Financeable 6) Provides the absolute best return to shareholders over the long term.
If you don't think that these are good objectives then perhaps you're better off gambling on other stocks.
