Dex I do agree with what you say, but the issue I have is why do I have to be the first to feel the pain?

How about a little give and take across the board?

I busted my ass because I knew the only way I would succeed in this life was to be something better than what I came from. Now after playing by the rules I was given I find them changing and it does piss me off.

Take this point for example. I have serious concerns for the environment/climate change but a significant portion of those older than me don't want to contemplate the increased costs.

So if there was some incentive for increased action on pollution/fossil fuel reduction then I would definitely be more willing to listen to changes that impact me.
