He bought 1million shares when AGY hit 1.9c which was the 62% fib retrace level at the time and it looked like the gap at 1.2c would get hit.
He now buys more which looks to me like it was to support the SP over xmas and it was 1 pip over the 62% fib retrace level.
Its not like he's taking a wage on top of these performance rights.

AGY increased 1300% in the last 12 months, was the best performing stock on the ASX and is looking pretty solid at these levels. Somebody somewhere has been making good decisions regarding AGY and knows what they are doing.
Its been an incredibly successful year for AGY and I'm gutted i didn't pick up on them earlier but if they can do just half as good in 2017 then we are looking at nearly $150million market cap.
