Good ol' days. When I was 18 yr I set off to hitch-hike around Oz. Lived with the hippies up in Kuranda for a while then across to Darwin sleeping on Lameroo Beach. Worked construction on the Darwin Dam and finished up on the prawn trawlers on the Gulf. You could fish in the rivers at night back then with water up to your waist, no crocs. But never got to WA in the end.
I still gotta finish that trip.
