I did say my strategy had changed since the result last March and occasionally . mentioned that over the past eight months.

I have said it is paying off and S&G is my best performer this FY.

I have said my losses have been pared back to below $100k on S&G when they were a touch above $200k loss at one stage.

I did say I don't want to make a habit of talking trading as my interest is the company, the industry and its prospects over seven years and more.

I have locked in a maximum loss ($13k) if it went to zero - though already up $20k so net would be +$7k. The further the stock price declines the more in the money I am. That is ironic given cowards on here are quick to say I am talking up the stock. I will do far better if the SP continues to fall. If I was devious it would make more sense form me to say sell and say the stock is doomed. I have more class tha try and decieve on a forum. Besides. Said in many occasions what is written on HC has no bearing on a SP - there might be a flurry of activity for a few minutes in response to a post but market forces would quickly snuff that out.

There are just two scenarios that bad for me. No recovery goes to zero (max lost $13k). Gaps up 120% on good news and doesn't retrace back.

Best scenario for me is SP declines lower and lower before stabilising with reasonable assumption of supporting a steady recovery. I don't want that to happen for the sake of good people invested and it playing in their wnerves, even though it would mire or less clear me if last year losses and set up nicely for the recovery.

I am diversified too and set up for what I believe will be a great 2017 for my portfolio. Uncertainty is the name of the game and since my hiccup with S&G in 2015 I now manage risk far more pro-actively.

What I do to manage risk is so simple I'm surprised others don't talk about it. Maybe others do manage it similarly but choose not to discuss, which is my usual stance.

Hi Mighty, can you break it down further for me please? (I have poor comprehension skills and my knowledge of trading strategies is virtually non-existent lol)

Have you dumped all/most of your SGH shares? (I noticed you recently reversed your 'buy' sentiment), and now lurk patiently on the sidelines in expectation the SP will crater so you can snap them back up again from capitulating and despondent longs at bargain basement prices???
