Do you believe the majority of Palestinians wish for peaceful co-existence with Israel?
If so, what was so objectionable about the peace deal offered by Ehud Barak at Camp David in 2000?
He handed them their 2 state solution on a platter, with return of ultimately 90% of the then disputed territory. There was even a multi-billion dollar fund included to compensate other property claims.
Arafat refused unless the deal guaranteed unlimited right of return for 4 million people (6 times the total claimed to have been actually dispossessed). 4 million into a then Israeli population of around 6.5 million?
